Fighting Machine is a fast-paced, frantic emotional collision of a song, filled with hooks, motifs and a breakdown where the song has a fight with itself. The track is about finding joy and hope in the midst of battling with mental health challenges. Fighting Machine is inspired by listening to Blondie on repeat, navigating gender expression and queerness and trying to stay positive despite wanting to take on the world.
